MONIKA STOLARSKA was born in Warsaw in 1986. She lives and works there. From 2005 to 2011, she studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. She earned her Master of Fine Arts degree with Dean's Distinction from the Faculty of Painting in the studio of Professor Wiesław Szamborski, with a secondary specialization in the Studio of Art in Public Space of Professor Mirosław Duchowski.
Since graduating, she has combined her artistic practice with teaching. Nature, its influence on humans, and its rhythms are an important point of reference for her. On the other hand, she is inspired by Neoplasticism and Suprematism, which she considers a current source of artistic issues. As she herself says, she combines biomorphism and organic forms with the mysticism of objectless painting.
