“Flows III” by Monika Stolarska is a work on paper from 2025 in which the artist combines ink and gouache. The upper part of the composition is dominated by an expressive, blurred ink wash with organic, dotted forms reminiscent of particles floating in the air or water. The lower part of the frame is filled with a subtle, horizontal landscape in muted shades of gray, blue, and pale green. The work is characterized by an ephemeral, fluid structure and a contrast between soft blurring and dynamic movement. The work is framed with a mat and glass and signed by the artist.

MONIKA STOLARSKA
Born in 1986 in Warsaw, where she currently lives and works. Between 2005 and 2011, she studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. She earned her Master’s degree with a dean's distinction from the Faculty of Painting in the studio of Prof. Wiesław Szamborski, with an additional specialization in the Studio of Art in Public Space under Prof. Mirosław Duchowski.
Since completing her studies, she has combined her own artistic practice with teaching. A key point of reference for her is nature – its rhythm and the way it affects human beings. On the other hand, she draws inspiration from neoplasticism and suprematism, which she considers an ever-relevant source of artistic inquiry.
In her work, she combines biomorphism and organic forms with the mysticism of non-objective painting, building her own unique language of visual expression.
