OLGA SZCZECHOWSKA – born in 1987 in Radom. She graduated in painting and cultural studies from Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń. She lives in Warsaw. Nature plays a significant role in her work – it is both the inspiration and the subject of her works.

She's been drawing, painting, and sculpting since childhood. Her style is the result of a process of exploration and experimentation. When she created a painting of arborvitaes growing in front of her grandmother's house, she felt she wanted to pursue it, that it was a subject close to her heart.

She most often paints from photographs she takes. She rarely makes sketches; she doesn't wait for inspiration, she just sits down to paint. Success for her is when people want her works to accompany them in their lives and evoke emotions and memories.
