JAKUB SZOSTEK - born in 1997. He graduated from the State High School of Fine Arts in Warsaw. In 2021, he earned a bachelor's degree and in 2024 a master's degree from the Costume and Stage Space Studio of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. He completed an additional project in the Drawing and Color Studio - the painting triptych "Métopes" under the supervision of Professor Elżbieta Banecka.

In 2024, he won the ZAiKS Authors' Association Award during the 4th National Competition from the New Situations "Wybrzmienie" series for the painting diptych "Sen klapsysinisty" (Harpsichordist's Dream), and in 2025 the "Silver Palette" laureates' distinction in the national artistic competition of the Paleta Foundation "Inspirations" for the painting "Psyche".

He considers painting and drawing to be the main discipline in which he creates, trying to transfer his painting experience to scenographic work.
