JAKUB SZOSTEK

Born in 1997. He graduated from the State High School of Fine Arts in Warsaw. In 2021, he received his Bachelor’s degree, and in 2024, his Master’s degree from the Studio of Costume and Stage Design at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. He completed his diploma annex in the Drawing and Color Studio – the painting triptych "Métopes" under the supervision of Prof. Elżbieta Banecka.

In 2024, he won the ZAiKS Authors' Association Award during the 4th National Competition of the "New Situations" series, "Wybrzmienie," for the painting diptych "Harpsichordist’s Dream," and in 2025, he received an honorable mention as a "Silver Palette" laureate in the "Inspirations" national art competition organized by the Paleta Foundation for the painting "Psyche."

He considers painting and drawing to be the primary disciplines of his work, striving to translate his painting experience into the field of scenography.
