“Water Always Finds a Way III” by Monika Stolarska is a large-scale oil landscape from 2025, combining mountain motifs with synthetic abstraction. The monumental composition, measuring 120 x 90 cm, is built around sharp, rocky peaks outlined in deep navy and violet, contrasted with layered, meandering bands in shades of dusty pink, copper, and vermilion. At the foot of the slopes and in the background, the artist has placed two patches of dark, still water, creating a point of calm amid the dynamic, fluid brushstrokes. With its powerful spatial impact, the work will make a striking focal point in a formal living room or foyer. The painting is signed by the artist.

MONIKA STOLARSKA
Born in 1986 in Warsaw, where she currently lives and works. Between 2005 and 2011, she studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. She earned her Master’s degree with a dean's distinction from the Faculty of Painting in the studio of Prof. Wiesław Szamborski, with an additional specialization in the Studio of Art in Public Space under Prof. Mirosław Duchowski.
Since completing her studies, she has combined her own artistic practice with teaching. A key point of reference for her is nature – its rhythm and the way it affects human beings. On the other hand, she draws inspiration from neoplasticism and suprematism, which she considers an ever-relevant source of artistic inquiry.
In her work, she combines biomorphism and organic forms with the mysticism of non-objective painting, building her own unique language of visual expression.
