KATARZYNA WÓJTOWICZ – A visual artist whose work focuses on gouache painting and printmaking. Her work explores the human figure, drawing inspiration from mid-century aesthetics. She deconstructs classical figurative representations, translating them into her own unique visual language.

A graduate of Graphic Design and Art & Design at the University of the Commission of National Education in Krakow, she draws inspiration from everyday life and 20th-century art. She currently lives and works in Krakow, where she develops gouache painting projects. Recently, she has been expanding her practice, transferring her painting and graphic design experience to sculpture and applied art.

She appreciates the work of artists such as Pablo Picasso, Maria Jarema, and Hans Arp. She is inspired by the geometry and plasticity of the human body, in which she notices intriguing angles, rhythms, and spots.
