"Sunflower" by Karolina Lubaszko is a unique drawing on A4 paper from 2021. The artist builds the composition using silhouetted, black figures gathered in a circle around small elements scattered on the ground. The density of the black ink and hatching contrasts with the open, bright background space, creating an intimate, slightly mysterious genre scene. This black-and-white drawing is a proposal for collectors seeking original figurative graphic art and illustration with a narrative tone. The piece will work well as an accent in a modern living room or study. The work is signed and sold unframed.

KAROLINA LUBASZKO
Illustrator and graphic designer specializing in posters, zines, collages, and editorial design. Born in 1994 in Biała Podlaska, she is a graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. Her work shows strong influences from the aesthetics of the 1950s and 60s, as well as inspiration from vintage postage stamps and packaging with bold shapes and saturated colors.
All of her works are created using analog techniques first, and only undergo digital processing in the later stages. This manual initial creative process allows for a controlled randomness that often gives her work a unique character.
She has participated in numerous projects and exhibitions in Poland and abroad, including in Luxembourg, Berlin, Potsdam, Skopje, and Prague.
