"Composition with a Column" by Karolina Lubaszko is an abstract workshop print in which the traditional motif of still life and architecture gains a modern form. The artist builds the frame using flat, geometric planes and sharp lines, working with a palette of red, intense pink, black, and white. The motif of an antique column creates a vertical axis of the composition, contrasted with the organic shapes of vessels. This limited screen print (edition 8/25) fits into the aesthetic of contemporary collage and will work well as a striking accent in a modern living room or bedroom. The work is signed by the artist and is sold unframed.

KAROLINA LUBASZKO
Illustrator and graphic designer specializing in posters, zines, collages, and editorial design. Born in 1994 in Biała Podlaska, she is a graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. Her work shows strong influences from the aesthetics of the 1950s and 60s, as well as inspiration from vintage postage stamps and packaging with bold shapes and saturated colors.
All of her works are created using analog techniques first, and only undergo digital processing in the later stages. This manual initial creative process allows for a controlled randomness that often gives her work a unique character.
She has participated in numerous projects and exhibitions in Poland and abroad, including in Luxembourg, Berlin, Potsdam, Skopje, and Prague.
