“LAMANA” is a hypnotic square composition by Jonas Koperkiewicz, created in 2025. Measuring 120 x 120 cm, it features a striking color gradient in which a pulsating, golden-orange glow at the bottom transitions seamlessly into deep, dark shades of crimson and violet. The dynamic vertical painterly structure is framed by an architectural geometric border, which sets precise boundaries for the organic burst of color. The work makes a bold, elegant visual accent in a modern interior. The piece is hand-signed by the artist and sold unframed.

JONASZ KOPERKIEWICZ
A graduate of the Faculty of Graphics and Painting at the Władysław Strzemiński Academy of Fine Arts in Łódź. In 2014, he defended his master's degree with honors in screen printing, and in 2020, he obtained his doctorate in the same discipline. Currently, he focuses on abstract painting, dominated by studies of color and form, which serve as a starting point for reflections on the nature of reality.
He perceives art as an activity on the borderline of mysticism, and the creator as a kind of medium and participant-observer who accompanies the process of transformation.
He creates new entities and brings them to life, fishing them out of nothingness. He considers style to be a secondary attribute, and focusing exclusively on the formal aspect to be an arrogance provoked by superficial ity toward the nature of the creative process.
