“AKH” is a mesmerizing, monumental composition by Jonas Koperkiewicz, created in 2024. Measuring 150 x 100 cm, it captivates with a spectacular vertical color gradient that transitions smoothly from deep purples and greens to intense, pulsating shades of orange and magenta. Precise geometric divisions crossing the canvas create an illusion of space and architectural order, balancing the organic character of the color blends. The work makes a striking visual accent in a modern interior. The piece is hand-signed by the artist and sold unframed.

JONASZ KOPERKIEWICZ
A graduate of the Faculty of Graphics and Painting at the Władysław Strzemiński Academy of Fine Arts in Łódź. In 2014, he defended his master's degree with honors in screen printing, and in 2020, he obtained his doctorate in the same discipline. Currently, he focuses on abstract painting, dominated by studies of color and form, which serve as a starting point for reflections on the nature of reality.
He perceives art as an activity on the borderline of mysticism, and the creator as a kind of medium and participant-observer who accompanies the process of transformation.
He creates new entities and brings them to life, fishing them out of nothingness. He considers style to be a secondary attribute, and focusing exclusively on the formal aspect to be an arrogance provoked by superficial ity toward the nature of the creative process.
