“Look Up 2” is another piece in Agata Kycia’s intimate printmaking series, in which the artist explores the relationship between rounded organic forms and intricate detail. A two-part, softly contoured area of deep navy is interrupted at the sides by delicate, zoned cut-outs with a dense, textured structure. This rhythmic micro-sculpture in the linocut’s texture creates a subtle play of light and shadow, giving the flat print a noticeable sense of depth. This unique art print for the home captivates with its understated elegance and mature restraint of form. Presented in a fine wooden frame with glass, it is an excellent choice for collectors seeking minimalist art for a modern living room, bedroom or home office. The work comes from a very short limited edition (edition 1/7) and is signed by the artist.
